Serve as the state statistical agency responsible for statistical policies, plans, programs, projects, institutions and for the management of statistical data and information in Jigawa State.
Policy
Advise the state on statistical policies and systems base on International Best Practices.
Data and Information
Promote the use of statistical data and information at individual, local government, institution, both national and internation levels, especially for evidence-based policy design and decision-making.

Collect, compile, process, analyze, interpret, publish, and disseminate quality statistical data and statistical information in collaboration with other governmental and non-governmental agencies.
Identify sets of statistical data across the sectors for evidence-base planning and decision-making on socio-economic developments.
